William Howard Taft

                  William Howard Taft was the twenty-seventh and he was born on September 15,1857 in Cincinnati, Ohio. William Howard Taft graduated Yale University and received a law degree. Later on, William was appointed a Federal Circuit judge at the age of 34. One accomplishment is he went to the Philippines and improved the economy, built roads and schools, and gave people a part in the government. Soon after he was elected Roosevelt's successor in 1908. His great appointment was "I don't remember that I was ever president." Just before his death in 1930, William was a professor of Constitutional Law at Yale University.
