    President Jimmy Carter, the thirty-ninth president, did a famous deed and had many important thing happen during his life. For example, he got married to Rosalyn Parks in 1946, and was elected governor of Georgia in 1970. He started a two year campaign for president in 1974. Finally, in he was elected president in 1977.  He was remembered for helping to bring amity between the countries Israel and Egypt.
