John Adams

1735-1826

John Adams was a great American leader who achieved his greatness through acts that bettered the American way of life.  John Adams graduated Harvard University in 1755 at the age of twenty.  John Adams was a highly educated American which helped him later on in his presidency.  John Adams was also our first vice president under George Washington in 1789.  He was involved in the American federal office before he was president which gave him the experience to become a better president.  The Alien and Sedition Acts were passed during his term.  He took actions against immigration to keep the job opportunities and safety available to the American working man.  John Adams was a highly educated American leader that took the opportunity to change our nation for the better.
