John Adams

As a child and throughout his life, John Adams, the second president of the United States, faces some tough challenges during and after his term in office. When John was ten years old, his father wanted him to become a lawyer instead of a farmer. John’s father wanted his son to have a well paid job and to grow up with an education, unlike himself. Another bumpy period in John’s life was when he ran for the first president of the U.S., but unfortunately John lost his first election and ran again in four years. John had to o through with eight four years of loosing and never gave up, which is why he is our second president. Finally, John campaigned for his cousin Sam Adams. Sam was running for the office of Registrar of Deeds for Suffolk County, and lost. John was very dissatisfied, but soon after his spirits started to rise again.
Even thought John had experienced loosing twice, he still regained his confidence and went back to his daily routine. With difficult and tough decisions ahead, John maintained to win in the end.
