George Washington

George Washington is an intelligent and respected leader who did great things during the American Revolution. He guided his ill-trained troops to many successful battles. George Washington is a skilled general who can take even the most inexperienced and make them into war heroes. He led his troops to a sneak attack against the British. Washington has a sharp mind and knows what to do and when to do it. When George Washington and his men were trapped during a grueling winter in Valley Forge, many of his men lost hope. To help this, Washington went riding around on his horse shouting encouraging words and reminded them why they were there. Washington always keeps his men upbeat even in the worst of times. George Washington fought hard during this arduous time and will always be remembered for what he did for our country.
