Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson, born in 1767, grew up to become a very popular man. In the War of 1812 he became a national hero because he beet the British at New Orleans. Andrew will go to great lengths to protect his country. In 1828 he won many state elections. People believed in him, and knew that he would be a great leader some day. In 1832 he polled more than fifty-six percent of the popular vote and almost five times as many in electoral votes. People looked up to Andrew not only as a great man but a great leader too. Andrew Jackson was a very well liked man and president.
