The 1st President
George Washington was a president who helped others and the poor in a good way. For example, “at age sixteen he helped survey Shenandoah’s land for Thomas, Lord Fairfax. This shows that he wanted a republican nation. In addition, “he escaped in the French and Indian war with no injury.” This shows that he wants liberty for the country of the United States. And finally, “Washington was elected in the Second Constitutional Congress for commanding chief of the Continental Army.” In the end he was a great leader and a great president. George Washington died in 1799 and was a great President.
