Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter was the thirty- ninth president of the United States of America.  Carter announced his presidency in 1974 because he wanted to work hard to target the economic woes of unemployment and inflation.  Jimmy Carter worked so hard to maintain that goal and he did a brilliant job.   When it came to foreign affairs, he knew how to handle it because he brought amity to Israel and Egypt.  This was an extremely nice thing o do with these two specific countries.  That random act of kindness helped make the world a better place.  Carter won the presidential election against Gerald R. Ford with 297 votes to 241 votes.  This was a real close election but both had excellent campaign.  The presidential campaign of Carter was emphazing ecology, efficiency in government and the removal of racial barriers and these were excellent topics.  Jimmy Carter was such a great president because of what he did for the United States of America.
