 John Adams

John Adams, second president, was the first vice president for George Washington.  He was president from 1797-1801, was the first president to move into the White House on November 1, 1800.  He was president for a long time, four years, he was very lucky to be the first president to live in the White House.  He was the second president and he helped negotiate the treaty that ended the American Revolutionary War.  He seems like a very good president to help with a treaty to end the war.  He also wanted to help so that he could have a better chance to become president he was a very nice man to want to help us in a time of war and that is what a true president should do for their country.  His last words before he died on July 4,1826, were “Thomas Jefferson Survives.”  He wanted Thomas Jefferson to be the next president and he did become the next president, the third president.  He thought that he was a good person to become president and so he told other people that he was great.  John Adams was a great president to think of who should be president if he ever died and he thought that Thomas Jefferson would be best.  John Adams was a great president he was in office for six years he was vice president for two years and president for four years.
