George H.W. Bush was a very dedicated political man who took on many different offices.  He served as Ambassador to the United Nations, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, Chief of the U. S. Liaison Office in the People's Republic of China, and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.  He was a very political man and liked to work in these kinds of offices.  In 1980, He ran for the president as a republican but lost.  He was determined to become the president of the United States.  When in office, he overthrew the corrupt regime of General Manuel Noriega, who was threatening the security of the canal and the Americans living there and routed Iraq's million-man army.  Mr. Bush wanted to help the world while in presidency.  In Conclusion, President George H.W. Bush showed his dedication by helping the United States while in smaller offices and helping the world as a president.
