President George W. Bush was born on July 6, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut. Ever since he was elected for president on January 20, 2001, he has been devoted to his country in many different ways. On November 8, 2001 President Bush was elected Governor of Texas. Bush willingly took his first steps toward presidency and serving his country. Since becoming President of the United States in 2001, President Bush has worked with the Congress to create an ownership society and build a future of security, prosperity, and opportunity for all Americans. He considerably started to shape our country to become a better environment. President Bush has also worked to improve healthcare and modernize Medicare, providing the first-ever prescription drug benefit for seniors. Under all his work, he finds time to enrich the health of many sick people in need of his help. On the morning of September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked our Nation. Since then, President Bush has taken unprecedented steps to protect our homeland and create a world free from terror. Bush cares enough for our country to strive to protect our nation from being destroyed. Since September 11, 2001, Bush has made are country closer as a nation. President George W. Bush still finds many different ways to help protect us and support our needs.
