Clown Fish

Some Facts about the clown fish. 

 The clown fish lives in an underwater sea flower called the anemone that is poisonous.  But the clown fish has an enema nine so it cannot kill them. 

Scientists say that they clown fish has a special coat made of mucous that protects it from the poisonous plant. 

The clown fish eats the anesome leftover as food. 


Kingdome: Animalia

The clown fish is in a members of the Kingdom Animalia, also called Metazoa. This Kingdom does not contain the prokaryotes.

Phylum: chordate

Clown Fish are chordates because they are defined as organisms that possess a structure called a notochord.

Class: Actinopterygi

Vertebrates, which include fishes, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals, all share a vertebral column, or a chain of bony elements.  The clown fish is a part of this.

Family: Pomacentridae it is in this family because this is the type of animal that it is and because it lives in the ocean.

Species: Amphiprion Percula it is that species because it is an animal that lives in the water.

My poem

    Quiet.. Blends in with the poisonous  plant that it lives in so that it cannot be attacked or eaten by another animal.  It is swift and quiet, and there is no way to get to it inside its house.
