My Dad
My hero, my Dad, inspires me to do great things someday. My dad has taught me so many different things. The most important thing he taught me was that when you lie it doesn't help the situation at all. He has taught me that I need to be responsible for my actions. Even when I'm the one who should be punished. I love my dad very much. I know that he would still love me. Even though, my dad has died I still hear him when I'm in trouble. Even if I was in trouble with my dad and I was mad at him, he would always find a way to makes me more happy. In our old house he used to fix things up. And I would be right there with him. Using the drill or the hammer. My dad used to take my friends and me to the movies the day or week it opened. Which was always fun.
I want to be like my dad because he was loving, forgiving, strong, able to fix things, and helpful. I want to be those characteristics because I think those are some of the characteristics that are in a good person. My dad would always forgive us. He was strong in the way of him fighting cancer. He made every minute we were with him fun. To achieve my goal to be like him I will begin to forgive others more. I like fixing things so I could start with my room. I could help my mom, sister, classmates, or neighbors when they need it. I love my dad and I want to be just like him.
