The Legend of the Candy Cane

1. White is for my Savior.
2. The red stripes represent the blood shed for me.
3. ‘’ J ‘’ is for Jesus and a staff for Jesus.
4.  When we break a candy cane it reminds us that Jesus’ body was broken for us.
5. A green stripe is sometimes added to remind us of Jesus is a gift from god.
6. We should share candy canes with other people because Jesus should be shared with one another.
7. Candy canes are traditionally peppermint flavored because of the hyssop.
8. Candy canes are made of hard candy instead of soft  because Jesus is the rock of our salvation.
