Interestingly the Pacific White-sided Dolphin is one of the only dolphins to have curved teeth. The Pacific White-sided Dolphin from the phylum Chordata is a sleek vertebrate that lives in the sea. This dolphin's characteristics and habitat are crucial to its survival.
The Pacific White-sided Dolphin has many different characteristics that help it survive in the wild. For example, one characteristic is the dolphins small, robust body. This characteristic shows that these dolphins swim fast
and leap out of the water. Another example are these dolphins short
beaks with curved teeth. This characteristic
shows that these dolphins streamline and are meant to eat fish and other small creatures. In addition, Pacific White-sided Dolphins have
black backs, white underbellies, and striped sides. This
characteristic shows that these dolphins have camouflage to protect them from predators
and to conceal them from their prey. These
characteristics help these dolphins survive, but that is not all that they need to live.
The Pacific White-sided Dolphin needs
specific elements in its habitat to survive. For
example, these animals need deep salt water near the shore to survive. This shows
that these dolphins need plenty of space to swim and need shallow water to hunt their
prey. In addition, these dolphins need cold
water in their environment. This shows that
these dolphins can only live in the cold waters of the
The Pacific White-sided Dolphin's habitat and physical characteristics play an important role in its survival. These predators need water without any pollution so that they can live healthy lives. We should keep the oceans clean so that we can see these dolphins living in a safe environment.
