Isn't it interesting that though the tiger shark has no true bone, it is still considered a vertebrate. The tiger shark, from the phylum Chordata, scavenges the coast. The tiger shark requires certain physical abilities to enable it to survive in its habitat.

The tiger shark has a few characteristics that help it hunt.  For example, one characteristic is the tiger shark’s wedge shaped head. This helps it hunt by making turning easier.  Another example of a characteristic is the long, upper tail lobe. This helps the tiger shark have sudden bursts of speed so it can catch its prey. In addition, the tiger shark’s teeth are saw like and razor sharp. This helps the tiger shark by being able to cot through flesh and other types of prey. Tiger sharks are predators and its characteristics show that they are quick, strong, and carnivorous.

Tiger sharks generally live in places where prey is easy to locate. For example tiger sharks can be found in coastal areas. This shows that they like areas where there is people and other coastal prey. In addition, tiger sharks are also found in murky water. This shows that they like places where they can be camouflaged. Another example is that they like tropical areas. This shows that the tiger shark likes warm areas where prey is plentiful. Tiger sharks are usually found in areas that they can find lots of food.

The tiger shark has certain characteristics that allow it to survive in its habitat. The characteristics of a tiger shark help it hunt in its habitat which is mainly centered around the availability of prey. People need to keep beaches clean so the animals including the tiger shark can live in a non-polluted enviorment.
