Paragraph

Isn't it amazing that the Polar bear can  live  in  two different habitats. The Polar Bear, which comes from the phylun Chordata, is an enormous vertebrate that weighs from 660-1760 pounds. The Polar Bear has many specific characteristics that help it survive in their seasonal habitats.

The Polar bear has many important characteristics. For example, one characteristic is " the polar bear's white, thick fur coat". This shows that the polar bear lives in a cold enviornment and that the polar bear needs the coat to keep it warm. Another example is, " the big paws". This shows that the big paws are used for the polar bear to swim and hunt down prey. Another characteristic is," the vacuoles on the paws". This shows that the small vacuoles on the polar bear is used for suction cups. All of these characteristics help the polar bear to live in the enviornment.

The polar bear's habitat varies due to the seasons. For example, in the summer, "  the polar bear lives on the land to hunt ringed seal". this shows that in the summer, to hunt ringed seal, while the seal is sun bathing, the polar bear comes and pounces on it. Another example is, in the winter, " the polar bear lives in the water to catch ringed seal". This shows that in the summer, the polar bear lives in the water and when the seal comes up to breath, the polar bear knags it with  its teeth and kills it. Another example is," the polar bear's coat is a factor for their habitat". This shows that the polar bear's fur coat helps it get warm in the winter or to get cooled off in the summer. All the polar bear's habitats vary due to the climate.

The Polar Bear's characteristics help it survive  in  the  Artic. To maintain  the polar Bear population, there has been a new law passed  to not kill Polar bears.
