Common dolphins are very unique and smart animals that have many traits that help them survive in the water. For example, one characteristic is their big, useful teeth. This characteristic benefits the dolphin because when they eat their prey, it is much easier and helpful to have their teeth. For example, another characteristic is there sharp beak. This characteristic benefits the dolphin because if a predator comes then it will hurt it when it attacks the dolphin. Another example is their powerful tail. This characteristic benefits the dolphin because it helps it move through the water and is very useful for hunting.

Common dolphins  have many facts and characteristics in their habitat. For example, they can eat up to 20 pounds of the fish per day. This fact benefits the dolphin because it needs to eat a lot so it won't get hungry and also so it won't starve. Another example is that they are fond of coastal waters and are also found well out to sea. This benefits the dolphin because the temperature where they live is just right. The last fact is that these dolphins prefer water with a sea temperature that is higher then 10 degrees Celsius.

The common dolphin prefers an open area in the water so it can swim and move without being distracted. Common dolphins have a very unique way of living in their environment. In conclusion, common dolphins prefer specific habitats that they are fit for. It is important not to pollute the oceans and seas so the dolphins can live and have a healthy environment.
