    It is truly amazing that rhinoceroses have horns and are herbivores. From the phylum Cordata, The rhinoceros is an amazing vertebrate. The features of a rhino help it survive in its habitat.

    Different characteristics make a rhinoceros unique. For example, the average weight of a rhinoceros is 25 tons. This shows that rhinos can conquer over other animals because of the weight. In addition, The average height of a rhino is eighteen feet at shoulder and twenty-seven feet long. This shows that a rhino uses its height as an advantage from predators. In addition, most rhinos have two horns. This shows that rhinos can use their horns as weapons. In conclusion, rhinoceroses use their different characteristics to their advantage.

    In order for the rhinoceros to live, it needs special features in the habitat. For example, most rhinos live in savannas. This shows that rhinos need wide open spaces. In addition, they are near abundant water and mud wallows. This shows that rhinoceroses need to stay moist. In addition, some of them live in tropical forests. This shows that rhinos need shade. In conclusion, rhinos can only live in certain areas.

    The rhino has physical characteristics that help it survive. We need to protect the rhinoceros' savannas and rainforests because rhinos need those to survive with their characteristics.
