Bottlenose dolphins are like strands of silk gliding through the water. Bottlenose dolphins are located in the phylum chordata and are vertabrates. They have sleek, streamlined bodies to swim around in tropical waters and to escape from their predators.

There are many different characteristics that bottlenose dolphins have. They have sleek streamlined, fusifrom bodies. This helps the dolphins to stream through the water faster. They also have a strong back fin. This helps them to get away from predators faster. Another characteristic is their skin color which is gray-green or gray-brown. This helps them to blend into their habitat to not be seen by their predators. The many characteristics of bottlenose dolphins help it survive.

Bottlenose dolphins live in many different areas of water because this certain type of dolphin migrates all around the world oceans. Some of the bottlenose dolphins live in shallow areas like bays, lagoons, and large rivers. This is because so they can stay ashore and close to some land. They also live in large bodies of water like the Pacific Ocean. They live in large bodies of water in cooler and deeper parts of water. This is so they can swim around and be more free from the human life and to have a better source of getting food. Another reason of  why they migrate to different places is to follow around the fish or to follow the certain water temperature according to the different seasons. This is so they can survive in their habitat to get the important essentials that the bottlenose dolphins need.

Bottlenose dolphins have many characteristics to help them survive in the ocean. To help protect bottlenose dolphins you should buy dolphin tuna.
