    It is extraordinary how a Grey Kangaroo can jump such a long distance in a single leap.  From the phylum Chordata, the Grey Kangaroo is a truly amazing vertebrate.  The various characteristics of the Grey kangaroo enable it to survive in it's habitat.

     Grey Kangaroos have many characteristics that help it to survive in the wild.  One characteristic they have is a large and strong hind legs and feet.  They have the ability to jump far and high.  Another characteristic they have are powerful, long tails.  This helps them to keep their balance, especially when they are hopping.  in addition, they carry their young in a pouch until they r a certain age.  This is used to protect the Joey until it is big enough to take care of itself.  In conclusion, kangaroos have many interesting characteristics.

    

    Grey kangaroos have vital needs in order to survive in their habitats.  For example, they need plants to live on.  They need to be able to move around freely in wide, open spaces.  They also need large amounts of grass or bushes.  They use this for food and grazing.  Another example is that they are never more then fifteen kilometers away from a large water area.  They need this to drink from, and without this, they would not survive.  In conclusion, they have special needs for their habitats.

    The kangaroos have many characteristics that permit them to stay alive.  they not only need water and food, they also need their tails and feet to survive.  All in all, they are beautiful animals with many unique characteristics.
