    It is truly amazing that tigers can climb trees using there long retractable claws. They are from the phylum chordata, the Bengal tiger is an amazing vertebrate. The Bengal tiger have many unique characteristics that enable it to live in its habitat.

    Bengal tigers have many interesting and amazing characteristics. For example, they have long claws up to five inches in length. This helps them because they can easily kill prey with them and use them as a lethal weapon during a hunt. another example, is they have very sharp and long teeth. This helps them because they can bite their prey with a hard downward bite. One more example is they are very big and can weigh up to 480 pounds. This helps them because since they are so big they can easily jump on and pin their prey to the ground. In conclusion the Bengal tiger is very fascinating and have many unique qualities.

    The Bengal tiger needs specific elements in order to survive. For example, they eat deer, monkeys, buffalos, and mild oxen. This shows that they need to live in a habitat including those animals. Another example, is that they seek areas with food, water, and dense cover. This shows that if they do not have these things they will die. One more example, is they live in a high-altitude and cold coniferous Himalayan forest. This shows that they need to live in these places in order to survive. In conclusion the Bengal tiger has many different needs in order to survive.

       The Bengal tiger has specific characteristics in  order to survive. We need to protect the Bengal tiger because it is endangered an could soon become extinct.
