Magma
VJS

Magma is the part of a volcano that is hot and melted rock.  When it comes out of the volcano, that is when the name is changed to Lava.  The silica content varies from 45 percent to 75 percent of the magma. If the gas content is high in the volcano, it is most likely to erupt.  The temperature usually varies from 1200 degrees Celsius to 800 degrees Celsius.  The viscosity (thickness) of magma is low like water and unlike detergent.
