Crust

    The outer most part of the earth, planets, asteroids, and moons is the crust.  The crust is very thin and brittle.  That so it can break very easily.  Most of the earthquakes are caused because of the earth's crust.  The continental crust is approximately twenty miles long.  The earth's crust is made up of several tectonic plates.
