My Hero

My Dad

My hero, Dad, inspires me to do great things someday.  My dad helps me practice basketball.  We sometimes play one-on-one together.  He coaches my soccer team and helps coach my baseball team.  If I have to do chores, my dad usually helps me with them.  He also taught me to barbeque steak and pork chops.  One night when my sister was over at her friend's house and my mom was at choir, my dad made me a dinner of three tri-tip steaks.  My dad never fails to put food on the table.

I want to be like my dad because he is hardworking and keeps our house clean and orderly.  He takes great care of our garden, and is very active in the Church.  He is a member of the Knights of Columbus.

To be like my dad I will have to work hard.  I can not slack off or become lazy.  I can teach Sunday School to become more involved in the Church.  I can start my own garden and grow fruits and vegetables and turn it into salad to feed my family.

I am so happy that my dad is my dad.  He is the best dad in the world.  I couldn't have a better Dad.
