Troposphere

Brooke F.

This picture of the satellite is in the troposphere, it is the lowest part of the atmosphere in the atmosphere.  It is the site of all the earth's weather.  the tropopause separates the troposphere from the stratosphere.  The troposphere is wider at the equator than it is at it's poles.  The temperature in the troposphere is warmest in the tropical and subtropical climatic zones.  The troposphere contains 75 percent of the atmosphere's mass.  The different heating of the regions of the troposphere by the sun causes convection currents, large scale patterns of winds that move heat and moisture around the globe.
