Watershed
By Julie T.
A watershed is an area where a large number of streams and rivers all come together to form one large body of water such as an ocean. Most watersheds are usually part of a larger watershed. Streams and rivers pick up pollution from the surface runoffs they pass by. A surface run-off is water that enters a river or a stream during a spring thaw of snow or ice . Oceans end up becoming the "resting place " of tons of pollution.
