The water cycle is the movement of water from oceans or any other source of water. The water cycle has three main parts called evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. It constantly renews the earth's supply of fresh water. The first step of the water cycle is evaporation, evaporation is the process through which water rises called water vapor. The second step of the water cycle is condensation, condensation is the process through which the water vapor changes back to liquid through the clouds. The last step in the water cycle is precipitation, precipitation is the final process through which the water vapor is thrown back on earth into the surface runoff which takes the water back into the ocean.
