Fossil :An imprint or mark left by an animal or plant.
Fossils are usually marks left by animals. They can even be complete bodies of animals that have hardened over thousands even millions of years. Some fossils can even be imprints of plants that existed many years ago. Fossils are very useful objects in history. They can be used to tell the date of other objects and can be used to tell what life was like many years ago. Fossil finding has become a very popular hobby for many people and fossils have become more valuable for scientists .
The Process Of Fossilization
1. Living animal or plant dies.
2. Over time, the earth covers over the body.
3. The body then turns into stone.
4. the body decays but a perfect imprint of the animal is left.
