Class Mammalia:

• 3 middle ear bones
• hair
• mammary
• feed young with milk
• give birth to live young

Order Cetacea:

• streamlined body shape
• paddle shaped limbs
• blubber
• blow hole
• lack of sweet glands

Family Delphinidae

• small-medium sized
• bid forehead
• striking color/patterns
• found only in the ocean

Genius/species Orcinus orca

• black and white
• largest of the oceanic dolphins

Big, black, whale

swimming in the ocean

as free as free can be

Fun Facts: 

• The way you can tell the difference between a male and a female is the males fin sticks straight up and the females curves.
• Orcas are actually is the dolphin kingdom.
• Orca whales are famous for being in movies
• They talk to each other while making a high pitch squeal.
