Kingdom: Animalia
All members of the Animalia are multicellular and all are heterotrophs. Animal cells lack the rigid cell walls that characterize plant cells.
Phylum: Chordata
They are defined as organisms that possess a structure call a notochord. They have a complete digestive system and they have a segmented body, including segmented bodies.
Class: Mammalia
Mammals are warmblooded and have hair. The hair helps them to camouflage and it keeps them warm in the winter.
Order: Carnivora
It is placed in carnivora because it's a mammal that eats meat. They can be recognized by their claws.
Family: Felidae
They are placed in felidae because they are specialized hunters of the carnivors, relying almost exclusively on prey that they have killed themselves.
Genius and Species: Panthera
The lion has big teeth and claws to kill it's prey. It has many good hunting skills.
Lions feed about once every three to four days, but can go without food for more than a week. A lion can live up to thirty years old and an average of fifteen. A lion's roar can be heard up to 8 kilometers away!
