• Very accurate senses
• Fast runner

• Includes 18 species in 6 genera
• Slender bodies

• Long canine teeth

• Although they are very cute they can be very vicious.

•   If you bring a raccoon's head to the Henniker, New Hampshire town hall, you are entitled to receive $.10 from the town.

• Raccoons are great climbers with sharp claws and sometimes they use those claws to climb onto your roof.

I've never heard of a raccoon 

that was a buffoon

they only come out a night 

when you can see the moon

I love this animal, I love the coon
