• Has a segmented body
• Has a tail

Class: Mammalia

• It is a mammal
• It has three middle ear bones, hair, and mammary glands
• They need glands to feed their young
• It's babies are born alive
• It has fur

Order: Primates

• Primates have different teeth, skulls, and limbs from other mammals
• They have pentadactyl feet, only one toe has a nail
• They have a thumb-like toe for each foot

Family:Cebidae

• They are characterized by long limbs, curved nails, a pollex and a hallux
• They don't have cheek pouches
• They also have long, well-furred tails

Monkeys climb trees

With their long tails

They eat fruit

And they swing on branches

Monkeys are fun because

They weigh a ton

They are very smart

But they don't shop at K-Mart
