-Kingdom-

Animalia:

Animal cells lack the rigid cell walls that characterize plants.                                 They are made up of cells organized into tissues, each tissue organized to perform a specific functions.                                                                                                    They are capable of more movement than plant cells.                                          There are nine or ten million species of animals.

-Phylum-

Chordata:

Organisms that possess a structure called a notochord, at some part of their development.                                                                                                   Notochord is a rod that extends most of the body's length of the body when it is fully developed. 

-Class-

Mammalia:

All animals have at least three characteristics not found in other animals.               They have three middle ear bones, hair, and mammary glands.

-Order-

Carnivora:

Are mammals that eat meat.                                                                                     Not all carnivores are carnivores.                                                                           They also have teeth, carnassials pair. 

-Family-

Canidae:

 

Represented by 14 genera and 34 species.                                                        Have usually 5 toes on the forefeet, four on the hind feet.                                    Have non retractable claws.                                                                                    Have a large set of teeth, large, but unspecialized.

Genius and Species-

Canis Simensis:

Wolves

Wolves are graceful animals

who are meat eating mammals

they have cells unlike the cells of plants

they have fur in many different colors

so, next time you see a  wolf, remember

they are more than just a clump of fur.
