    All Animals are in the kingdom of animalia.

 

Phylum: Chordata

    The flamingo is a vertebrae.  Vertebraes are animals that have backbones.

 

Class: Aves

    The Aves class is a class of birds.  The Greater flamingo is a bird.

 

Order:  Ciconiiformes

    These birds have long legs and long legs.  Some of these birds are storks and herons.

Family: Phoenicopteridae

Genus and Species: Phoeicopterus ruber

Poem

Flamingoes are pink.

Their food is shrimp that is what they eat.
