- the members often have a head, tail, and a digestive system with openings at both ends of their body.

- they conceive their young with in the reproduction tract of the mother

- nourish young with milk produced by the mothers mammary glands

- are heterodynes ( that means that they have a variety of specialized teeth )

- they are endothermic ( that means that they are warm blooded)

- they have hair and sweet glands

- they have four chambered hearts

- they have a complex nervous system

- they have large brains

Order: Carnivora

Characteristics that place it here:

- Most members of the order carnivora can be recognized by their enlarged fourth premolar and first lower molar.

- use teeth for cutting meat. called carnassials pair.

- they are good runners

- have a good motion of the jaw

- they have a strong zygomatic arch and a large brain case.

- all teeth are rooted and diphyodont.

- have have a sense of smell and sight ( sight is is less developed ) have deep chested bodies

- legs and feet are elongated, making their stance digitgrade

- have non-retractive claws. they are worn down by activity.

Characteristics that place it here:

- when puppies are younger they have a different diet that when they are older ( they need protein )

- dogs can go days without food

- when having babies, the larger dogs need more time

- if dogs are upset they will wine or cry - when they are happy they will wag their tails

- their behavior depends on how the trainer treats them.

Pug dogs are quite funny and sweet

They love it when you give them treats

They are nice cuddly, wonderful, and cool

Don't worry they will not droll!

Pugs love to walk run and play

They also love o sleep and snore all day.

If you try to go to sleep with a pug they won't stop snoring!

and I do admit it is quite boring!

But all in all Pugs are as great as ever!
