Osiris

Osiris is regarded as being the dead king who watches over the nether  world, and is rejuvenated in his son Horus.   Osiris is the son of Nut and Geb.  He is also the brother of Isis, Nephthys, and Seth.  By Isis, he is the father of Horus, and by Nephthys, the father of Anubis.  As the symbol of eternal life, Osiris was worshiped at Abydos and Philae.  In the late time Osiris was called Un-nefer.  Religious text along with mythical text and priests have tried to explain the name.

Osiris once took human form and lived on earth.  Osiris is represented as a bearded man, who is wearing white mummy wrappings.  He is wearing the atef crown, and holding the symbols of supreme power.  These symbols are the flail and the crook  Osiris is a very interesting  god, and I hope you read more about him.
