Achievements in Music and Dance

The  religious life of the ancient Egyptians was marked by music and dance . It was an important aspect of daily life. Music was present in battle fields, banquets, and  tombs.

Some instruments that they used in ancient Egypt were harps , flutes, drums, flutes, cymbals, clappers, and tambourines. The fans clapped.

Dance was an enjoyable pastime danced with their arms above there heads.

There was six types of dances in Ancient Egypt: religious , non religious festival, banquet, harem, combat, and street.

The royalty would never dance in public they would normally have there slaves entertain at the banquets.

The Egyptian dancers did leaps, twirls, and bent their bodies. They also wore semitransparent clothes while dancing.

I hope you have learned a little more about kinds of Egyptian music and dance. They were interesting to write about and look up.
