Tools Used In Egypt

The craftsmen used metal to make weapons, the metal they used was iron. They made the tools out of iron. Some of the tools were the Ancient Drill, Ancient Mallet, Ancient Saw, and some modern tools. The drill had some wire, the mallet was like a hammer and used for sculpture. The saw was used for hard rock, it had a jeweled tip, iron saws would be necessary to cut through extremely hard granite. Some of the Ancient Egyptian tools look similar to the ones we used today, and some looked just plain weird. The saw looked like a knife, the drill like a bow and arrow, and the mallet looked like a wooden bell. The tools were also used for surgical use. As you can see there are many similarities and differences between Egyptian tools and the tools we have today.
