(Hatshepsut)
Hatshepsut went on a trade expedition to Punt, an African Kingdom that may be present-day Somalia or Ethiopia. Hatshepsut was responsible for alot of public projects. Hatshepsut fixed up old temples that had been destroyed in an earlier era, in the time between the Middle and New Kingdoms. She also sent workers to mine the deserts for ores, a practice that the earlier invasions had interrupted. When Hatshepsut was the ruler of Egypt, the Egyptians enjoyed it very much. Hatshepsut brought peace and prosperity to her kingdom. Hatshepsut was a lady king in Ancient Egypt.
