Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809.   He was also assassinated by a man named John Wilkes Booth in an opera house.  He was also the 16th president of the U.S.A.  He was a great leader and led wars.  He died on April 15,1865. 

 Abraham Lincoln is remembered as a hero because he was a great leader and was the 16th president.  He wanted to make a difference in the world.

            I admire Abraham Lincoln because he had a good heart, a good soul, and a good mind.

            Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12th 1809.  He lived in a wooden cabin, he had two brothers, and he had a tall hat.  He freed the slaves, and he was an honest president.  He was the 16th president of the U.S.A. He became president in 1861.  There was a Civil War going on.   President Lincoln made a law to free all the slaves.   When the war ended all the slaves were free.  He died in April 15, 1865.

            Abraham Lincoln is remembered because he was an honest president. He freed the slaves. He made all people equal.  He is a hero because he fought for what was right even though it was dangerous. 

            I admire Abraham Lincoln because he freed the slaves.  He was an honest president.  He stood up for what he believed in. He was a brave leader during  the Civil War.

            Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. He was president when the Civil War was going on.  He didn’t want the war to go on. Abraham Lincoln got shot on April 14th 1865 by John Wilkes Booth. His nicknames are Honest Abe, The Rail-splitter, and The great Emancipator.

            My hero, Abraham Lincoln, is remembered for being a president and a leader during the Civil War. He was a great president because he had a lot of confidence, and bravery.  He was a great leader.

            I admire my hero, Abraham Lincoln, because he was brave enough to be a leader during the Civil War. He was a very confident president.

            He was born on February 12, 1809.  Abraham was home schooled.  He was born poor and he was born in a backwoods cabin 3 miles back in the woods.  He lived in a home made out of wood.  When he was a boy he liked hunting and fishing.  He was assassinated.  He died on April 15,1865.

            My hero is remembered for his pride and work.  I admire my hero because he was nice and helpful.  I am glad he was president and a lawyer and a very good lawyer.

            Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809.  He was born in Kentucky, U.S.A.  He was poor in his childhood. A flashflood washed away his pumpkin and corn seeds that helped his fathers plants grow.  As a rail-splitter he helped clear and fence his father’s new farm.  He was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth.  He died on April 15 1865.

            My hero is remembered for helping slaves. He was president during the Civil War.

            I admire my hero because he brought our country closer together.  He saved some lives and had the U.S. become one big country.
