Vatican II

I chose this piece of work because it is very interesting and it has really changed our church and how we function the mass. It makes the mass better and helps people understand and pay attention more.

From this assignment I learned that the language was changed from Latin to English. I also learned that one of the reasons that they convened this council is because they wanted to increase lay involvement. I also learned about the all the popes that took part in it.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that Pope John XXIII convened the council.

Johnny Tremain Essay

I chose this piece of work because I really think that this is a great story that gets you interested and willing to read. It really brings to life each character and you quickly learn the different emotions of the characters.  You can quickly predict what type of decisions that they will make. You are able to learn about the Revolutionary War and all the struggles people had to go through and how people did not just give up.

From this assignment I learned that if you really work hard you can get things accomplished. I have learned from the book and some of the characters that it is important that you must always keep going no matter what happens and no matter how hard that things get you need to try and stay positive.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment that it really helps you to really pull out all the information you need from this story to create a good quality work. It is not the easiest process to form and essay and it takes a lot of concentration and really dedication to really make it successful. This essay helped me to realize and accept people's work and my own.

Math

Metric Conversions

I chose this piece of work because I enjoyed working in Excel and learning about the different conversions. 

From this assignment I learned about different methods and procedures to get the conversions.  I also learned the length of Mount Everest and the area of Miles Square Park

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that it was really fun and I liked how we joined math and technology together,

Oil Pollution

I chose this piece of work because I worked very hard on this project and I want everyone to see the facts and know about it. 

From this assignment I learned that their are many different reasons why we should help our environment.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment you should be more aware of what can harm the Earth.

Laws

I chose this piece of work because I feel that it is a very important to know about the different ways of pressure, volume and temperature

From this assignment I learned that Charles Law has to do with the pressure and volume of gas and that Boyles Law has to do with volume and temperature with gases.

One thing that I want to tell you about is that with Charles Law when the pressure decreases the volume decreases.

Social Studies

Civil War Timeline

I chose this piece of work because the history of the Civil War and what it led up to is really important. I learned about the different events like Lincoln's Inauguration. I also enjoyed working in Word, which is what we worked in for this project.

From this assignment I learned that sometimes you have to change the paper to landscape so that the whole timeline can fit. I also learned that you must use textboxes to write in so that you can place it anywhere on the timeline.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment that James Buchanan became the 15th President in 1857and that the Dred Scott decision resulted to that he had to stay a slave because he had no rights. Beside the history of this timeline there is a lot of things that you have to remember when creating a timeline. You need make sure you have the correct dates and all the information. You also have to make sure that you can fit all your information. You have to right just enough to cover the event but not too much so that it takes up the space of anpther event.
