I started school in Warwick Rhode Island. it was a
good size private Catholic school with around 200 students. I had a lot of
friends there. The teachers were really cool ,and I knew everyone, and they knew
me. I had my four overall friends in R.I., my school had its own chapel, indoor
gym, and a huge play yard with a blacktop, field and jungle gym area. We had ok
food ,and we had about three field trips a year. In first grade I learned all
the normal things, like telling time, it was
fun.
From second too fourth it was the same ,but at fifth grade I had a strict
teacher, but she was still a lot of fun. Sixth grade was the best, and my last
year at Saint Rose . My old school was a lot of fun ,but I had to leave in sixth
grade. I was kind of sad, I missed my teachers and friends ,and they missed me,
but I still visit them every year.
I started my Serra career in the 7th grade. My teacher was Mrs. Marsh/Muzzy. The people that helped me feel welcome were every one in class by being very kind to me, showing me the ropes, introducing me to new teachers, and just being nice. My best friend was Tyler he was cool too, he was nice, and we had a lot of fun together. In technology class we did fun things like the animal projects. I did my project on the gelada baboon.
Seventh grade was ok I guess, Mrs. Muzzy came, and she tuned up the year. she helped us do a lot of fun things such as dissecting star fish, or the speech debates, and even taking notes was fun. So over all my first year at Serra was okay.
My teacher made learning fun. She let us dissect starfish.
What I remember most was when I first started my Serra career.
This year I am in the 8th grade. I am looking forward to being in charge.
Three things I do well are:
1. Rifle shooting
2. reading
3. baseball/umpiring
Three things I would like to improve about myself are:
1. I need to improve in math
2. I need to improve on my Spanish
3. I need to improve on my English
Three things I enjoy doing are:
1. Rifle shooting
2. playing baseball
3. Surfing
A goal I have for this year is: to be as productive as possible
I will achieve this goal by:
1. listening in class
2. doing the best possible on all work
3. praying to God
Three careers that I am interested in are:
1. pilot-I want to become a pilot because I like planes, and I know allot about them, and I would get to travel a lot.
2. police officer-I have always wanted to be
a police officer, because I like to enforce the law ,and I like being in charge.
3. corrections officer- I want to become an corrections officer because, the government needs more officers , and I would like to punish the criminals for their actions, and I think it would be a very interesting job.
Three school subjects related to my career interests and why are:
1. physics- with physics I can learn about gravity etcetera.
2. gym-this will help me get fit so I can restrain criminals if necessary.
3. enrichment- this helps me to concentrate. It will help me to keep steady as I go rifle shooting, and it will help me in my future profession as a police officer, or a corrections office.
This year I have learned: a lot about being a leader, and also that we should all try to be a good friend whether we like the person or not.
