I chose these pieces of work because they show how hard I worked on them .  They also show how much research I did, using the internet and other tools.

From these assignments I learned that pollution is harmful to our environment.  I learned the properties of gas.  This being my first time using XP I was able to use different tools.  For example, I created multiple sheets with in 1 file.

Two things I want to tell you about these assignments are that oil pollution is ruining our environment by polluting the air and killing many sea creatures from oil spills or harmful draining to the ocean.

Civil War Timeline

I chose this piece of work because it shows the significance of the Civil War.  It also shows the important dates and occurrences before and during the Civil War.  It demonstrates my ability to research on the web, create hyperlinks, insert pictures, and cite my work.

From this assignment I learned how to create hyperlinks and how to correctly site my work.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that the Civil War ended slavery because of a Union victory.
