Vatican II

I chose this piece of work because I took a lot of time in doing it and I thought I did a good job on it.  I liked the background I did on it and how they were patterns and different colors.

From this assignment I learned about the Vatican II and who conveyed it and facts about his life. Pope John Paul XXIII conveyed the Vatican II and he worked very hard on the Vatican II and he wanted to make it the best he could make it.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that it is a lot of fun working in power point because you get to animate things.  When you work on the power point presentation you get to do whatever you want in animating it to your taste of style.

Language Arts

Jane Schaefer Essay

I chose this piece of work because I enjoyed the book Johnny Tremain and I thought it was very interesting how it was about the Revolutionary War.

From this assignment I learned how to use the Jane  Schaefer method and I enjoyed it because this assignment makes it a lot easier to write a paragraph.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that Jane Schafer can be confusing at times but at the end you have a wonderful paper.

Math

Metric Conversions

I chose this piece of work because I like to convert things on the computer and I think it is cool how the computer figures it out for you.

From this assignment I learned how to compute conversions through the computer without having to use a calculator.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that it was much easier to do when the computer did the calculations for you.

Checkbook Register

I chose this piece of work because I like using a checkbook and seeing how much money I have left in my account.

From this assignment I learned if you could tell if money were being taken away from you r account of if they were being added.

One thing I want to tell you is that it is very easy to convert balances.

Science

Oil Pollution

I chose this piece of work because I think oil pollution is a horrible thing and I was very interested in learning about it.

From this assignment I learned that there are many different kinds of pollutions.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that it was very, very interesting and it was very sad how many animals it has killed.  It was also my first PowerPoint presentation in XP!  XP had many different kinds of tools and transitions.
                           

Chemical Element

I chose this piece of work because I had the element cesium and I thought it was cool.  Cesium is also used in atomic clocks!

From this assignment I learned that a lot of elements used in everyday life.

One thing I want to tell you about this projects is that cesium was found in lakes and it is used in many things.  I really liked my PowerPoint presentation.
