     I started my Serra career in kindergarten.  My teacher was Mrs. Reiss.   The people that helped me feel welcome were my teachers and my friends.  In kindergarten we always did fun projects like coloring, book reports on what the teacher would read us. It was so fun!!!  One of my friends was Miles.  My teacher made learning fun.  She did fun activities with us, like fun projects and stuff like that.    

 

    In first grade my best friend was Kelsey and my teacher was Miss McKeehan.  She was one of my most favorite teachers.  We did lots of fun activities and we started getting into real class work and had tests and quizzes.  She made it really fun to learn about math, science, social studies, and most importantly religion by making the homework fun and giving us really fun projects in each of those areas .  We had mass'  and sometimes we got to help out with setting them up, it was so fun!!  My friends were Lauren O., Kelsey K., and Allie M.  They were all really good friends and still are.  And that year Lauren liked Zac Como.

 

    In second grade my teacher was Mrs. Finn she was a really good teacher.  She also was one of my most favorite teachers.  In second grade we started to have homework, but it wasn't really that hard.  In second grade we made our First Communion.  I remember the school making a big deal about it.  We had to dress up in our nice outfits that we got our First Communion in, and we had a very special Mass just for us it was really cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In third grade my teacher was Mrs. Balsis I remember on Halloween we dressed up in our costumes and did a parade around the school and had classroom Halloween parties and did not do work the whole day it was awesome.  Mrs. Balsis was the play director so we would (being her class) be able to see the plays before the school. 

 When I got into the major grades like 4th-7th we also did work but we still had fun doing them. 

    In fourth grade my teacher was again Mrs. Finn.  One project I remember having was the Mission Project.  I was assigned Saint Louis Rey.  We had to build a model of it and write a paper on it.  That was one of my most favorite projects.  Another project that we did was the Pioneer Web Project. I did mine on John Muir. One class trip we had was The Pilgrim.  We had different types or crews, I was in the Line handlers group.

    In fifth grade I had Ms. Lipka she was a really funny teacher.  A project that we did that year was the 50 States Project. I had California I was so happy I got that state. Some people thought it was the easiest state but let me tell you it wasn't, it was hard!!!.  I remember Ms. Lipka always used to bring in burritos and coke and used to eat it in front of us.  I remember Cameron always asking her if he could have a bite or a sip or her food and used to always ask her to bring some in for him.  That year we had a few new people come into our class like Cameron, Katie, Montana, Hannah.  One project I remember doing was the Hero Project and I did that one on my Mom.

 

    In sixth grade my teacher was Mrs. Fiore and some new people that came that year were Natalie, Lauren and Kristin, John E.  That year we went  to Sixth Grade Science Camp it was fun but the food was not that great! We had a dance at Science Camp and my dancing partner was Zac Como. It was a different kind or experience but it was fun.

    In seventh grade my teacher was Mrs. Tilton she was also one of my most favorite teachers.  I remember going to  Medieval Times and being on the yellow team with the yellow knight.   We got to go to our first dance that year. I was so excited!!!  That year we got to plan the 8th grade graduation party.  When we planned the graduation dance or party  for the 8th graders we all had so much fun planning it all by our selves. And making the decorations and setting it up for them!!  Now its the 7th graders turn to do it for us I am so excited!!!!  One project I remember doing was the Animal Kingdom project, my animal was the Bottle-nosed Dolphin. 

    What I remember most about all those years is having wonderful teachers and having so much fun with all of my friends and having fun in all my subjects and doing really well.  I also remember the Pilgrim, 6th grade Science Camp, The Mission Project,  The 50 States Project.

    This year I am in the 8th grade.  I am looking forward to having a really good year, getting good grades, and GRADUATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  My friends this year are Katie K., Brian H.., John E., Lauren S., Kurt L., Miles M., Lauren O., Kelsey K., Paige P., Matt C., Kristin F., Andrius S., Hannah A., Caitlin D., Elizabeth H., Brigette M., Kyle K.,  J.Matthew S., Eric C., Natalie N., Zach Z., Johnny F., Lauren S., and many, many more! 

Three things I do well are:

1. Playing volleyball  

2. I am good at golf

3. And being a friend to others

Three things I would like to improve about myself are:

1. Being better at math

2. Getter better grades

3. Improving at volleyball

2. Watching football games and going to football games

3. Listening to music and hanging with friends

A goal I have for this year is: To get all good grades, get into Santa Margarita, and have a wonderful year!

Three school subjects related to my career interests and why are:

1. Science- because you need that to be a doctor and learn all the things about the human body and everything that has to do with the body.  Since one thing I want to become is a doctor I would need to know where the parts of the body are and how they can be helped if something is wrong with them.

2. Math- because you need that in whatever career you what to go into (you need that in everyday life).  For instance I want to be a doctor so I would need to know proper calculations for giving out doses of medicine and helping others.

3. Language- because if I want to be a lawyer I need to be good at language for saying speeches and writing documents. 

    This year I have learned more about God, and a whole lot more on the classes like math, English, religion, Spanish technology, literature, social studies, vocabulary, & much, much more!! Also how to be a good friend!
