Religion I chose this piece of work because I think the Vatican is a very important part of, not only history, but today. The effects of Vatican are still in act today and still affect our lives. This is a very thorough PowerPoint presentation and is full of very accurate and interesting information. This is a beautiful display of Vatican II and its effects. From this assignment I learned all about the results of Vatican II. Pope John XXIII thought the church was in need of updating, so he introduced many things that would make the congregation more involved in the mass. One thing I want to tell you about this assignment was that Vatican II was opened by Pope John XXIII, and it was closed by Pope Paul VI. They also turned the altar around to face the congregation. |
Language Arts I chose this piece of work because I think that this is one of the best essays I have written in my entire Serra career. I have written many essays here at Serra, but this is by far the most outstanding one written by me. I also chose this piece of work because it is so informative about the Revolutionary War. From this assignment I learned how to write a proper Jane Schaeffer essay. I also learned about the war at the time. We learned about the hardships of the war and what the citizens had to go through. One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun doing this essay. It has all the information you will ever need to know about Johnny Tremain and the war going on at that time. |
Math I chose this piece of work because I think this is the most educational math project, and it was the most challenging of all of our projects in my own opinion. From this assignment I learned my weight on all the planets and the moon. This project also helps me to understand how to evaluate an equation on the computer. It was also fun to learn the mass and radius of each planet. One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that my weight on Saturn is 1.10E+02 |
Science I chose this piece of work because I really enjoyed it and thought that this was one of my better projects. From this assignment I learned about all the horrible things that can be an outcome of oil pollution. We also learned about all the different kinds of oil spills and what we can do to prevent them. MARPOL is a treaty made by the United Nations to prevent oil pollution from ships. One thing I want to tell you about this assignment
is that we can all prevent oil pollution by not putting oil down the drain
and to always store all chemicals indoors and sealed tightly. |
Social Studies I chose this piece of work because it is an ideal display of computer technique and history. This project really motivated us to go out on the web and into out books to find the answer. We got the chance to go onto many new websites and also experience new things on the computer. From this assignment I learned how to create a timeline on the computer, but not only did we learn how to do things on the computer we also learned so much about before, during and after the Civil War. We reviewed over things we already new, and we learned this we never new before. One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that I really enjoyed doing it. I truly enjoyed researching and creating the timeline. This was a very exciting and pleasurable project where we got the chance to look at the significance of each important event in the Civil War. |
