I chose this piece of work because it was an interesting project where I learned about oil pollution all over the world.

From this assignment I learned that there are different types of oil pollution.

Social Studies

Civil War Timeline

I chose this piece of work because it was the first time I learned a lot of information about the civil war and it was exciting to read about the events that occurred during this time.  It was a time of grief and sadness because our country was fighting itself.  The United States was split into two sides-Union and Confederates-which was all started on the issue of slavery which the north and south fought over frequently.

From this assignment I learned that Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson were the most brilliant strategists during this time and the south had both of them, but the north had more men.  The north ended up winning the war even though they did not have great strategists.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that it took a lot of research and work to find this information.
