I chose this piece of work because I love to work in Power Point. Vatican II also influenced the way our church functions today.

From this assignment I learned about all the changes Vatican II established. I also learned about new popes and the influence they had on Vatican II.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment it was very fun to work on. it also refreshed my memory on some of the Power Point functions.

Johnny Tremain essay

I chose this piece of work because I am very proud of it. As I get more instruction on how to write Jane Shaffer essays my writing improves. This essay is by far the best essay I have written.

From this assignment I learned that to improve your writing you should not use the same word to describe something more than once. I learned how to find better adjectives to describe something.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is this essay took months to perfect. I am very proud of it. It is truly an example of my writing skills.

Math

Metric Conversions

I chose this piece of work because I spent a lot of time on it and I feel it is one of my best works in excel..

From this assignment I learned how to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius on the computer. We also learned how to auto fill.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that it took a long time and even though it looks simple it took a lot of time, effort, and thinking.

Matter

I chose this piece of work because I really enjoyed working on it. I learned new things and expanded my knowledge of excel.

From this assignment I learned how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide different cells on the computer.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that I weigh 37 pounds on Mercury.

Oil Pollution

I chose this piece of work because I love working in Power Point. This is one of my favorite projects that I enjoyed working on.

From this assignment I learned that you can recycle oil.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment  is that we worked on it for about a month and that it was very fun to create.

I chose this piece of work because I thought that it was not only educational but fun. We were able to draw pictures and make a chart too.

From this assignment I learned more about The Charles' and Boyles' Law.

One thing I  want to tell you about this assignment is that it was made over a two period week and was so much fun.

Civil War Timeline

I chose this piece of work because this year the 8th grade has been learning about the U.S. history. This project reflects what I have been learning and highlights one of the most saddest points in  the United States history.

From this assignment I learned dates and the pivotal points in the Civil War.

One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that it refreshed my memory on wrapping text in Word. It was also a very educational but fun way to learn about the Civil War. This was a project in which I learned so much and had fun working on.
