Before I came to Serra Catholic School I went to Valencia. I attended Valencia for three years, first, second, and third. My first grade teacher was Mrs. Jumper. My second grade teacher was Mrs. M. My third grade teacher was Mrs. K. What I remember most about Valencia was at the end of the year there was always a 50's dance, where we would dress up in clothes such as poodle skirts. It was a lot of fun because we would dance with our friends and teachers.
4th
I started my Serra career in the fourth grade. My teacher was Mrs. Povey. My teacher made learning fun. Some ways she made learning fun was she would let us wear her special slippers and sit in a special chair if we got an A on our math times tables. She helped me understand the concepts if I didn't understand it. We also had many holiday parties, such as Christmas, Halloween, Valentines Day, and Easter parties. I was Minnie Mouse for Halloween. We had a costume parade where we got to wear our costume to school and parade around the blacktop. The people that helped me feel welcome were the teachers and students. My best friend was Jane. My best friend now is Dayeanne. What I remember most in fourth grade was our experience on the Pilgrim. I was in the Galley crew with Mandy and Maura. We had to prepare the food for everyone. The fourth Grade Pioneer report was a lot of fun. My pioneer was Giovanni and Verrazzano.

In fifth grade my teacher was Ms. Lipka. What I remember most about fifth grade was the State Project. My state was Kentucky. I spent many months working on it. I had to write about its location, The capitol, The state bird, food, flower, and a lot more. I had a fun time building that project. We studied about the human body and how it functions. We also performed the Living Stations of the Cross. For the fifth Grade Hero Project, I wrote about my hero being my dad. Also, we held our own Class Presidential Election, and Bush happened to be the winner.
6th
Entering middle school, my teacher was Mrs. Passero. She made our learning experience fun. What I remember most about sixth grade was we got to wear skirts, and also sixth Grade Science Camp. Sixth grade science camp was a lot of fun. We learned about stars, trees, and science in general. During Sixth Grade Science Camp, we did an activity called Skit night. For skit night we would have to think of a skit and perform it later that night. The teachers performed a really funny skit. Sixth Grade Science Camp Pictures
7th
My seventh grade teacher was Mrs. Marsh, who taught us a lot about science and trees. We started a tree project, but it was never finished. She resigned and then we had a new teacher, Mrs. Muzzy. She taught us Science and Social Studies. What I remember most was our dances. This was our first year of school dances, so my friends and I were really excited. We had a fun time. What I remember most about seventh grade was when we got to plan the graduation party for the eighth graders. We cut out paper flowers, and decided what music and food they should have. Seventh grade Animal Kingdom Project was very educational. I reported on horses and how they are important to our world.
8th
This year I am in the eighth grade. My teachers are Mrs. Muzzy and Mrs. Tilton. I am looking forward to graduating and going to Santa Margarita Catholic High School.
Three things I do well are:
1. Riding my horse
2. Studying
3. Dancing
Three things I would like to improve about myself are:
1. Studying more for tests
2. Spelling words right
3. Getting better grades
Three things I enjoy doing are:
1. Going to the movies , mall and beach with my friends
2. Riding my horse
3. Ballet
A goal I have for this year: to get good grades and go to a good high school
I will achieve this goal by:
1. Studying more
2. Paying more attention in class
3. Listening to the teacher and completing my homework
Three careers that I am interested in are:
1. Becoming a horse vet
2. Becoming a lawyer
3. Professional dancer
Three school subjects related to my career interests and why are:
1. Science- I have to learn about animals and about human and animal bodies
2. Math- I have to be able to calculate numbers.
3. English- so I can communicate to other people using correct English
